Stone Wall Grey Natural | Vinyl Wallpaper - 67.5cm x 4m features a grey stone wall design with brown tones. This wallpaper is 0.60-0.90mm thick, easy to cut and apply with glue/paste. It is suitable for wet areas, washable, durable, and has a 3D effect. It is wider than standard wallpaper, intended to be installed vertically with stones along the width of the roll. If two strips are joined, pay attention to the pattern repeat. Easy DIY installation saves time and money, and can even be used as a splash back over tiles. Removing the wallpaper is simple and a paper-layer will remain so the next wallpaper can be applied, or removed completely.

Size Guide

Size Guide

Before you start

  • Perform the glue test below so that you are clear on what adhesive you require
  • Be aware that this wallpaper is intended to be installed horizontally. Check the image of the roll so that you are aware which way the design rolls out

How to calculate what you need:

  1. Measure the height x width of your wall (e.g. 2.4m (H) x 1.7m (W))
  2. Divide the height by 0.675m (e.g. 2.4m / 0.675m = 3.56)
  3. Round this number up to the closest whole number. In this example it means rounding up 3.56 to 4. This means you will need 4 strips. Each strip needs to be 1.7m long (the width of your wall)
  4. Calculate how many strips you get from each roll by dividing the roll length (4) with your strip length (1.7). 4/1.7= 2.35.
  5. Round this number down to the closest whole number. In this examples it means rounding down 2.35 to 2. Each roll is enough for 2 strips.
  6. Divide the number of strips you require (4) with the number of strips each roll will give you (2). 4/2 = 2 You will need 2 rolls of 67.5cm x 4m.
  7. It's advisable to always add a minimum of 10% extra.
  8. Remember to check how much glue you require for your project.

Application

Application

This is how you install the wallpaper. Make sure that you follow all instructions carefully.

  1. Make sure that the surface of your wall is smooth, solid, dry and clean from grease and dust.
  2. Measure the surface and cut the first strip to the right size
  3. For non-absorbent surfaces such as oil or lacquer coatings, use common dispersion adhesive (e.g. Ceramics adhesive from our online store). Apply the adhesive to the back of the roll. Alternatively moisten the back of the wallpaper with water and let it soak for 10min. Apply the adhesive straight to the wall that you wish to cover with wallpaper. Fill up any grout lines with adhesive (if you cover tiles).
  4. For absorbent surfaces such as concrete or drywall, use common wallpaper adhesive for heavy wallpaper (for example Metylan spezial). Apply the adhesive to the back of the roll, fold, and let soak for approximately 10 minutes.
  5. Apply the first strip, starting at the top, and ensure vertical alignment. Cut the next strip to ensure the pattern repeat is taken into consideration. Place it next to the previous strip after applying adhesive. The strips should be butt joined so that they are positioned edge to edge without overlap. Cut the wallpaper in the corner and start with a new piece on the other wall. This prevents the wallpaper from coming loose in the corners.
  6. In rooms which are subject to moisture, it is essential to ensure that all edges and joins are sealed with PVC cold welding paste (for PVC wall coverings). This prevents moisture from penetrating underneath the wall covering. When finished, ensure that the room is well ventilated!

Please note:

  • Always follow the adhesive manufacturer's instructions!
  • Immediately remove any spots of adhesive with clean water!
