To avoid air bubbles and get the best finish, it's important to have the right equipment when applying sticky back plastic and window film. The applicator has a velvet edge on one side which makes for a smooth application without damaging the surface. The vinyl is easiest to cut with a sharp blade. Just snap off the old blade when it becomes blunt.

The kit is amazing! I hadn't applied the product before and the velvet edge of the tool made easy work of sticking down the vinyl. The little knife is nice and sharp for cutting fiddley bits and into corners.
